Randi Solin uses glass like a contemporary abstract expressionist painter, combining techniques from Venetian and American traditions of glassblowing. She has been working in glass for over 30 years. Her work has been collected, shown, and exhibited throughout the world, including the permanent collection at the White House, nine U.S. Embassies, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She approaches glass like an abstract painter does canvas, using all forms of colored glass to create expressive compositions of color and motion.
