Candone's first studio was on the island of Ibiza, Spain. Resources were limited, her studio and kiln primitive. Candone's introduction to clay involved only the use of her hands and the simplest of tools. Today she uses a slab roller and a few kitchen utensils to create textures on slabs building up the form with layers of coils that are carved or textured with basket weave and block print designs.

Candone began working with Raku lusters in Spain and the USA. Later to venture into the world of stoneware and porcelain vessels.

Most recently, her love for color and glass has inspired her to create a collection of cast glass work.

My inspiration begins with my love for clay and travel. My woven forms are inspired by ancient cultures, architecture and vessels.
